About

Loftvio is a small independent site about making the most of small spaces, indoors and out: compact living rooms and entryways, apartment balconies and pocket-sized patios.

Who writes this

The site is run by Maxim Yaroshenko, based in Girona, Spain. I work on landscape and garden design projects, and most of what you read here comes from the same questions I solve in that work: how to fit seating, plants, shade and light into a few square meters without it feeling crowded.

How we choose what to recommend

• We start from the problem (no privacy, no shade, no floor space), not from the product.
• We prefer things that fold, stack, hang or do two jobs at once.
• We point out the downsides as well: what rusts, what fades, what needs a drill.
• We do not publish prices, because they change. Every product link shows the current price in the store.

How the site is funded

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, the store pays us a small commission and you pay the same price. It never changes what we recommend. The details are on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
